Anime does not mean close mind by kat-reverie Anime does not mean close mind by kat-reverie
I was having a talk with someone on another one of my stamps, and she pointed out in a way that people automatically think all anime fans (especially those of us that draw in an anime/manga style) do is watch anime, listen to japanese music and cosplay.
I personally don't watch much anime. I am currently keeping up with, what, two? and I have only a small ammount of J-music on my computer, especially in comparison to rock and big band ( and classical and... well, I have a lot of music XD ) I also watch cartoons, and network tv. I practically ABUSE the history channel and history international. And as for cosplay, I think it'd be a fun thing, but really it's no different than dressing up as a witch for halloween.

So yeah, as usual, a stamp so I don't feel the need to bitch moan and groan in my journal XD

C+C wanted, as not only are my emote skills bad, my frame speed skills are lacking too XD

EDIT: (12/20/08) Thank you all for all the comments and even the faves ( XP ). I'm having a hard time reply to all of them, so I'd like you all to know ahead of time that I REALLY appriciate the time you guys take to write comments. Even if I don't reply I assure you I read every one of them.

------------
Edit: 3/23/2012 - For those asking, you're welcome to use this or any other stamp I've made. I don't mind at all.

This happens to me when I try to talk to someone... Normal conversation with me:
You:"Hi, what's your favorite song?"
Me:" Hontou no Piece of love"
You:"Okay, Favorite singer?"
Me:"Ayumi Hamasaki"
You:*Thinking "Wow, what the heck is she saying?"
       *Talking "Favorite Show?"
Me: "Shugo Chara"
You:" *Explodes What the... What did japan move into your head!!!! Why would you think like that, it's abnormal!!! And why do you wear lollipops in your hair!!!!"
Me:" Lollipops are american..."

Go shugo chara! Who's your favorite character and chara? the chara doesn't have to be your favorite character's.

Yeah I like anime and cartoons, I'm in non-anime fandoms, plus I like more music than Jpop/anime. Plus you'll even see at conventions that cosplay is not limited to anime, and people there sell more than anime stuff
